Dr. Margaret Dominguez has worked at NASA for over 12 years. She is currently working on the Roman Space Telescope, which will seek to study galaxies and dark energy. The WFI Grism, a slitless spectrograph on board the telescope will play an important role in this study. Margaret has led some of the testing efforts of the optical characteristics of different prototypes of the Grism to demonstrate that the construction of the flight Grism is possible. Most recently she has helped build and test the flight unit. During this talk, the journey of the prototypes and flight Grism development will be discussed, along with the most recent alignment, optical metrology and testing results.
